On Friday 7 February 2025, Dr Vangelis Karkaletsis, Director at the Institute of Informatics & Telecommunications at NCSR Demokritos, along with colleague Dr Thodoris Giannakopoulos, were invited to give a talk on Artificial Intelligence developments to the students of the 77th Resident Course of the Hellenic National Defence College (HNDC).

During the talk, Dr Karkaletsis and Dr Giannakopoulos had the opportunity to share insights into Greece’s strategic approach to AI, presenting the Blueprint for Greece’s AI Transformation and the findings of the Generative AI Greece 2030 study. These discussions provided students with a comprehensive understanding of the country’s AI landscape and the future prospects of this rapidly evolving field.
