In the context of the recently released book titled Artificial Intelligence: a discreet demystification, the author Dr George Giannakopoulos, researcher at SKEL | The AI Lab, presented the book to the public on Friday 5 November 2021, 20.30, at Public Café, Syntagma sq., Athens.

A discussion on Artificial Intelligence and its impact on our daily lives followed the book presentation with the participation of:

• Vangelis Karkaletsis, Director at the Institute of Informatics & Telecommunications of NCSR Demokrito
• Eleni Rethimiotaki, Law Associate Professor at the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens and former Director of the Hellenic National Bioethics Commission
• Manolis Patiniotis, Professor at the Panteion University Department of Sociology
• Periklis Terlixidis, Executive Officer of Attica Hub for the Economy of Data and Devices (ahedd DIH) at NCSR Demokritos
